DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(i)Providing health education to patients and relatives;

(vi)Teaching nurse students and other health cadres;

(ix)Ensuring that the prescribed in-patients and out-patients treatment manuals and

procedures are adhered to;

(x)Carrying out supervision of other staff;

(xi)Verifying patient’s costing and pricing information sheet provided by the Finance

Department;

(xii)Maintaining hospital inventory;

(xiii)Monitoring usage of consumables, ensuring no wastage or pilferage;

(xiv)Documenting on daily, weekly and monthly patients’ progress reports;

(xv)Maintaining a harmonious working environment among all Staff and Students ;

(xvi)Maintaining high standards of discipline and code of nursing ethics and be a role model; and

(xvii)Performing any other duties as assigned by his/her Superior.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from any recognized College and has been registered with the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Tanzania and has a valid license to practice.
